We are excited to announce the expansion in our services to now be offering the new Parent Pathways Program in the Somerset region. The Parent Pathways program focusses on guiding and supporting parents and careers of children under the age of six with their employment, educational and career journeys.
We now have a Full-Time Mentor position available for a passionate individual who are keen to help make a positive difference in people’s lives to join our team, working in our Somerset region.
Flexibility is required to be able to work across our offices located in the Somerset region.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE - A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MENTOR
As a Mentor, you will be responsible for providing personalised mentorship to parents and carers to help them navigate their educational and career goals.
Salary - $66,000 - $72,000 per annum + Super
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE;
- Connecting participants with resources such as childcare, housing, financial aid, and educational resources
- Providing advice to participants with employment searches, resume and interview preparation and ensure they are aware, understand and adhere to their compliance requirements and obligations with Centrelink
- Developing tailored action plans that address unique needs and aspirations of each participant and help participants to follow through on personalised action plans
- Facilitating workshops and group sessions to provide additional support and foster a sense of community amongst the participants
- Keep accurate and up to date records of appointments and client communication in accordance with Parent Pathways contractual requirements
- Uphold and promote the Parent Pathways Program goals, contributing to its continuous improvement and success and achievement of organisational KPI’s.
