What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Director with a strong background in MEP to lead and influence our ambitious projects. This role requires a strategic leader who can articulate and implement plans that align with our business objectives.
The successful candidate will hold overall accountability for the initiation, planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning, and handover/closeout of our projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal qualification (BSc/MSc) in management/construction or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as APM PFQ/PMQ/PPQ, CSCS, and SMSTS or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall responsibility for the success the project.
  • Allocate resources and staff ensuring projects have appropriate.
  • Identify the quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
  • Understands the contractual requirements of the project.
  • Proactively manage the customer relationship during pre-construction, delivery and post construction, including change management, risk management and decision making to effectively manage expectations.
  • Ensure external consultants (e.g., Design) are managed to enable delivery – driving value, customer focus and achievement of the project’s objectives.
  • Participate in and sign off supply chain selection process, ensuring that an appropriate balance is made between commercial focus, quality orientation, delivery capability and safety record.
  • Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery and regularly report on project progress, risks and issues.
  • Attend and lead contract reviews for projects you are accountable for, ensuring accurate records are kept and actions are timely monitored and completed.
