Emtec Building Services are a leading national contractor with a highly skilled in-house workforce of mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineers and much more. With a track record of delivering successful projects, we continue to deliver cutting edge solutions to exceed our client’s needs. Due to some recent significant contract wins we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Team at our HQ in Uddingston.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering work packages safely, within budget, on time and to client specifications. You will work with a team of project engineers on exciting projects in Glasgow and the Surrounding areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead site-based teams to ensure adherence with company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance and Purchasing
- Ensure that all work is work is carried out to a high standard incompliance with relevant British Standards and codes of practice.
- Establish and manage firm financial targets to achieve predetermined objectives, including regular reporting of financial status to the Commercial Manager.
- Facilitate tendering processes for additional project works to accommodate client requirements.
- Lead, motivate and develop site-based teams.
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our existing customer base.
- Offer technical support to both customers and site-based teams utilising resources from centralised departments, specialist suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Provide the necessary support and training to enhance the effectiveness and effectiveness of the business unit and business as a whole.
