MEP Site Engineer

• Must possess at least 2-3 years professional experience as MEP Site Engineer in U.A.E.
• Analyse plans as well as specifications based on the plan and supervise the work of subordinate staff
• Develop plans, details, and specifications as well as cost estimates for plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning as well as piping systems
• Advice the project stakeholders on matters concerning the installation and maintenance of MEP system
• Determine issues in designs and plans and advice on the same
• Handle and deliver several projects in a timely and budget-aligned manner
• Assess the contractor’s installation method statements
• Analyse and comment on the contractor’s testing and commissioning results and provide the necessary advice
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned

PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS

• Work experience in MEP design drawings, MEP As-Built drawings, MEP shop drawings as well as MEP Coordination Drawings
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office as well as Project management software
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills before, during, and after site installations
• Excellent communication skills is required
• Knowledge in cost estimation and management related MEP, fire protection and technology labor resource, equipment, materials and BOQ cost analysis and contract pricing, tender reviews and mobilization plans are desirable.
  · The right candidate will be conscientious, methodical, and have an excellent eye for detail.
  · Possessing strong organizational and interpersonal skills, they will work with the creative designers, project managers, and subcontractors to prepare the detailed MEP technical plans and implement these on-site.
  · Education Qualification BSc/BA in engineering
  · PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
  Job Types: Full-time, Contract
  Contract length: 24 months
