Description:

The MFP team owns the local MFP & OTB process for the business. The role leads the Global Buy Reviews and Open-To-Buys for the cluster. Responsible for managing the planning processes to improve the MFP & OTB methods to secure forecast accuracy.
The role translates global strategy into actionable local items related to inventory and targets for stock and sell-in strategy. Must partner with a cross-functional team to deliver financial results, maximise profits and analyse trends. Responsible for reviewing and updating the Open-to-Buy plans.
Key accountabilities:

PIVOTAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background: Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising
  • Strong, seasoned, technical merchandise planner with international/global vertical retailing, omni experience
  • 8+ years of solid experience working within Merchandising and/or Consumer Insights, Demand Planning
  • 5+ years of leadership/people management role for a team
  • Experience from retail, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG industry
  • Computer skills: High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude to learn technical applications (like: MS Access, Hyperion and APTOS) quickly
  • Knowledge of planning software
