JOB SUMMARY:

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Part-Time Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our product displays are well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills who can work efficiently in a dynamic retail environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous retail or merchandising experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to [weight, e.g., 30 lbs].
  • Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a retail environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Display and Organization: Arrange and maintain product displays according to Shoppers Drug Mart’s merchandising standards to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform stock replenishment, and manage the rotation of products to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Shelf Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain shelf cleanliness, product placement, and pricing accuracy to ensure a tidy and efficient shopping environment.
  • Sales Support: Assist with promotional setups and in-store events, ensuring that promotional materials and displays are set up as per company guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product location and providing information about promotions or sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with store staff and management to coordinate efforts and ensure that merchandising goals are met.
  • Reporting: Provide feedback on product performance and stock levels to help inform ordering and inventory decisions.
