Responsibilities:
As a Merchandising Analyst for Sporting Life (SL), your role will be pivotal in supporting our Hardgoods Buyer with product management and coordination for our stores nationwide. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers’ needs.

In this role, you will manage and distribute inventories to all stores by working cross-functionally internally and externally to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right store at the right time and quantity to increase profitable sales, maximize inventory productivity, and balance inventory levels by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) for stores.
- Responsible for inputting and maintaining all data within the category, including the purchase order process; creating and uploading information changes, item cancellations/reinstatements, confirmation, and pricing.
- Creating reports at the SKU level for shipping, markdowns and sell-throughs while maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checklists.
- Managing all inventory replenishment, SKU maintenance, and allocation/core, including regular inventory balancing, preparation for promotions and seasonal requirements, and allocating inventory in advance to ensure inventory is in stock to support sales.
- Working cross-functionally with the stores, creating sales, margin, and inventory reports by analyzing data to support category initiatives.
- Building and fostering solid external relationships with vendors.
