The Role:
Joining our London based team, you will either lead or support in managing and assisting in the profitable execution of all product categories through UK and Europe Retail Full Price and Off price stores or digital platforms. You will maximise delivery of sales and profit that fall in-line with business growth plans and strategies.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities (dependent on role level):

  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Management of annual and seasonal sales and margin budgeting, category planning, and devising/inputting to strategic objectives for four collections a year.
  • OTB planning across all product categories.
  • Forecasting of sales and inventory through review of trends and product range, considering comparative stores, and new opportunities.

Product

  • Partnering with the team to devise and select product assortments across stores and digital based on brand category strategies, store grades, capacities, demographics, historical performance and sales forecasts.
  • Support with seasonal product training store teams.
  • Manages team competitive research to illustrate both the strengths and weaknesses of products and pricing in all markets.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of product performance across relevant markets at a store level with and understanding of customer profiles and competitor environment.

Analysis

  • Weekly reviews of KPI’s – stock, sales, cover, sell-thru, margin.

Collaboration

  • Work very closely and build relationships with our internal stakeholders in Product, Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and the wider Commercial team.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, JDA and Business objects and Board are a plus
  • Commercially aware with experience and understanding of luxury and competitors driven from a passion for retailing and product with an eye for fashion
  • Decision making and problem solving
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic to work with others and able to listen, influence and effectively communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organised and efficient with strong planning capabilities with ability to work to multiple, competing deadlines.
