Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a strong, experienced leader to oversee its Merchant Services Onboarding function. This leader will manage the Onboarding team and is responsible for leading all aspects of the client onboarding and setup lifecycle. Additionally, this position will act as the primary liaison with all stakeholders within Merchant Services related to the operations surrounding merchant onboarding, add location and setup related activities. This role will engage and influence strategy and leverage analytic and execution skills to drive key initiatives to deliver on program objectives and solve business problems. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo’s policies and business line objectives
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for business execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations functional area
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Develop objectives and key results (OKR’s) and use metrics, Key performance indicators (KPI’s), to track the effectiveness of initiatives and develop an ongoing feedback loop to ensure continuous improvements
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Provide expertise for technical, operational and compliance functions related to client onboarding and setup
  • Develop and deliver top quality, highly impactful and informative verbal and written presentations to executive leadership
  • Deliver a high standard of quality in the daily execution of client onboarding and setup responsibilities and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Embrace continuous changes and challenges; handle various initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.
