Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned M&A IT Technology Services Expert to join our team as a Merger & Acquisition IT Solution Architect within the M&A IT Team. In this strategic role, you will report directly to the Head of M&A COE IT EMEA. As a trusted Senior M&A IT Architect, your primary focus will be on SAP-related Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Carve-outs, and Joint Ventures from an IT architecture perspective, while also considering the broader SAP enterprise architecture to ensure successful and sustainable integration within the organization.
Your profound expertise in SAP End-to-End Enterprise Architecture, with a breadth that extends beyond SAP, is essential. Moreover, a strong understanding of leading applications in key areas such as Customer Journey (GTM), along with critical internal processes including Finance, Provisioning, and Fulfillment, is highly valued. A flexible, technology-agnostic mindset will be pivotal in effectively managing the complex and varied IT landscape associated with M&A activities.
The Role:
Position Overview:
The M&A IT Architect will be responsible for leading the technology integration efforts during SAP-related Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Carve-outs, and Joint Ventures. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems, processes, and infrastructure, aligning them with the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT due diligence process for potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, identifying risks, mitigating risk and opportunities
  • Develop comprehensive IT integration plans, including system consolidation, data migration, and process harmonization, according to the integration stategey
  • Manage & execute the integration plan and ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption. Develop critial path and mitgiate potential risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the current IT landscape, identify gaps, and design target state architecture
  • Effectively engage and communicate with C-Level executives
  • Ensure that IT integration efforts are aligned with overall business stakeholders and their objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams M&A IT and external partners throughout the integration lifecycle
  • Conduct post-integration reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency in M&A IT activities also toghether with the SAP Enterprise Architecture
