POSITION SUMMARY:

We seek highly motivated and skilled M&A Sales Associates to join our team. This position is distinct from traditional M&A roles, as it focuses on a facilitation approach that emphasizes qualitative insights and relationship management rather than extensive financial analysis. This role is essential in driving our M&A initiatives and requires effective engagement with C-suite professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire M&A deal process from initial outreach to deal closure, with an emphasis on qualitative data and analysis and relationship building, rather than purely quantitative analysis.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis, including a solid understanding of EBITDA and company valuations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a keen understanding of their industries, needs and objectives.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to deal flow, client engagement, and revenue generation to ensure individual and team success.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to facilitate deal execution and integrate insights from various industry sectors.
  • Continuously seek to learn about evolving business landscapes and market trends to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Maintain and manage CRM systems to track deal flow, client interactions, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the development of initiatives and leadership within the team.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Minimal travel may be required for conference attendance, client meetings and company events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 2-4 years minimum of proven business and sales acumen with a record of accomplishment of closing deals in M&A, Investment Banking, or other client-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, including EBITDA evaluation methodologies.
  • FINRA licensed or willing to obtain necessary licensing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage with C-Suite executives.
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Mature and professional demeanor, with the ability to handle sensitive client interactions.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and completing deliverables on schedule.
  • Self-motivated while working remotely in a fast-paced and rigorous environment.
