Description:

Job Title: MES DeltaV Integration Engineer (MESDV)
Location: Based in Limerick, Ireland (Remote, with occasional site visits)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in MES for pharmaceutical environments (Syncade preferred).
  • 5+ years working with DCS in pharma settings (DeltaV preferred).
  • Proven leadership and collaborative skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards, regulatory requirements, system validation, and cybersecurity.
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with MES/DCS integration.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, including cGMP, ICH, and USP.

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

The MES DeltaV Integration Engineer (MESDV) will lead and participate in the finalization, testing, installation, and verification of MES-DeltaV communication modules. Working closely with process and operations teams, the MESDV will ensure seamless integration, particularly during the qualification phases. This role reports to the Automation Program Manager and involves collaboration with various teams, including Verification, Construction, Process, and Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a technical expert on MES-to-DeltaV interfacing.
  • Lead and provide oversight on technical tasks and team output.
  • Develop solutions for integration issues and provide IT systems support.
  • Collaborate closely with vendor engineers and developers.
  • Participate actively in design and software review sessions.
  • Communicate project progress regularly to management.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures and standards.
