Description:

Horizon Controls Group are currently looking to recruit a MES Engineer to join our team and work on key client projects.
The MES Engineer is responsible for providing technical guidance and support in the execution and delivery of the MES configuration at client sites, including adherence to schedule and engineering design.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Creating and executing the best practices for managing MES systems, ensuring adherence to company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Overseeing vendor performance and managing contracts.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving MES and automation issues.
  • Maintaining, enhancing, and developing MES recipes and features.
  • Working with other technical teams to provide strong recipes and functionalities that ensure consistent and sustainable performance.
  • Preparing and executing Automation Change Controls, ensuring they are initiated and completed on schedule and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Offering expertise and technical knowledge on MES to various technical functions.
  • Administering and maintaining MES systems, ensuring automation systems remain validated.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Developing and updating automation SOPs, creating automation training materials, and conducting MES training sessions.
  • Ensuring all documentation complies with SDLC requirements.
  • Performing any other tasks assigned by the MES Lead.
  • Representing the site MES within global and corporate teams.
