Job Description
Fusion Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a specialization in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to lead the implementations across two manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of the MES project, including planning, execution, and documentation of electronic batch records, as well as overseeing the integration of critical interfaces. This role is crucial for ensuring that the sites are prepared to handle peak manufacturing activities through the adoption of Electronic Batch Records (EBR). Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of GxP regulations are mandatory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of project management experience, focusing on MES implementations in manufacturing.
  • Proven track record with MES systems and Electronic Batch Records (EBR) in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and MES software.
  • Familiarity with system integration (e.g., ERP, LIMS) and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead MES implementation across two sites, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain detailed project plans.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and integration of the MES system with other manufacturing systems. Drive the adoption of Electronic Batch Records (EBR) aligned with best practices.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment on project goals. Facilitate regular status meetings and address any concerns.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project activities and oversee the creation of electronic batch records. Coordinate training and provide ongoing support for end-users.
