Summary: The Resident Services Support team member will flex between cleaning rooms and halls throughout the facilities as well as preparing and serving buffet style meals.
Note: Effective 1 December 2024, Mess Hall Resident Service Support residing in Trident housing will be charged $15 per day for room and board, for every day at least 8 hours of work is offered.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before
  • Food Handler’s card; required within 30 days of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or food service industry preferred.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.)

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in meal preparation and food service as indicated on the menu or as assigned.
  • Always maintains a clean working environment.
  • Responsible for cleaning kitchen, kitchen equipment, and all dishes, tables, and floors.
  • Restocks and cleans beverage machines and condiments on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning and stocking bathrooms and other common areas.
  • Assists in laundering employee clothing and work attire.
  • Cleans storage rooms, bathrooms, offices, corridors, processing areas, and stairways.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, and dusts furniture.
  • Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties and cleans wastebaskets, outdoor ashtrays and transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Cleans and replenishes bathroom supplies and replaces light bulbs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
