Description:
ABOUT YOU:
Were seeking a dedicated and experienced MET Technician with:
- A strong background in accident repair, ideally with experience on electric and hybrid vehicles
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Proven skills in managing workload to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills, able to work independently or as part of a team
- Relevant ATA/NVQ qualifications in automotive repair, with a willingness to renew or update skills as needed
- A commitment to Health & Safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Responsibilities:
As an MET Technician at Steer Darlington, youll play a key role in restoring vehicles to top condition. Working on a variety of makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Dismantling and reassembling vehicles to pre-accident condition
- Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostics
- Ordering and managing parts to meet repair specifications
- Collaborating with team members to complete repairs on time and to high standards
- Ensuring safety and quality compliance across all tasks
