JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid to Senior Level Metadata Analyst to support the implementation of an Enterprise Data Catalogue and ensure effective discovery and management of data assets. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving metadata collection, quality control, and governance to support the organization’s data governance and compliance roadmaps.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform metadata-related activities across the metadata lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and recommend accurate metadata.
• Proven experience in engaging stakeholders to align with data governance and compliance strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to resolving metadata-related challenges.

• Perform metadata lifecycle activities, including collection, validation, quality control, and governance.
• Thoroughly review metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness based on stakeholder inputs and governance guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in financial institutions to onboard them into the organization’s data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Analyze metadata challenges, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions to address issues.
• Support the development and management of the Enterprise Data Catalogue to enable efficient data discovery and asset management.
