Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Draftsperson / Detailer you will be responsible to take control of the drafting and detailing for a variety of Architectural and Fabrication products. You will need to be very confident in handling project independently.
You will work closely with the managing director, project manager and manufacturing manger on multiple different projects at a time. Very strong attention to detail and a strong metal fabrication background will be necessary.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

  • 3+ years Drafting / Detailing experience.
  • Metal / Steel Fabrication or manufacturing background essential.
  • AutoCad / Inventor / Solidworks
  • 3D drafting of Tube/Pipework, Sheet Metal.
  • 2D drafting
  • Production of detailed shop drawings/parts list for fabrication and client approval
  • Production of rendered images for clients
  • Understanding of relevant Australian Building Codes and Standards.
