The Metal Shop Manager is responsible for rebar and metal fabrication, Bending Building trim, welding, Equipment and Trailer repair. Services performed may include, though is not limited to layout/shop math related to complex metal fabrication, material reduction, fitting, tacking, welding, and assembly. Fabrication equipment and forklift operations. Machine layout, machine setting, assembly, precision alignment, structure assembly, custom fabrication, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Material preparation, priming, and painting of finished work. Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting, welding or fabrication machines, keep metal shop organized Stock metal shop materials, load and unload delivery trailer.
Comply with safety policies and procedures, environmental risks and hazards, and ensure daily workplace inspections are done to identify and correct workplace hazards accurately.
