If you answered yes to the question, we invite you to seize the opportunity to make a significant impact as a Spacecraft Controller. We are seeking individuals to ensure the 24/7 monitoring and operation of EUMETSAT’s Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) and Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) spacecraft and ground segments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine spacecraft operations, including telemetry monitoring, telecommanding, and anomaly handling for the MSG and MTG systems.
- Monitor and control ground segment elements to ensure consistent data acquisition, dissemination, and overall system health.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all operations and events during shifts, including anomalies and their resolutions.
- Execute contingency and emergency procedures as required, ensuring spacecraft safety and mission continuity.
- Coordinate with ground station and maintenance teams for system activations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Participate in regular training sessions, including simulator sessions, to stay up to date with operational procedures and updates.
