Responsibilities:
As our new MetOcean Analyst, you will be part of a diverse international department at Ramboll’s global headquarters in Copenhagen, and work on international Offshore Wind and marine projects across all stages from planning to detailed design, in close collaboration with our team of highly engaged and specialized engineers.
Ramboll is a leading consultancy firm in the Ports and Offshore market, and we are constantly involved in major nearshore and offshore projects, were the interaction of MetOcean analysis, coastal engineering, structural design, and hydraulic knowledge is key. For example, feasibility studies for offshore wind farms in South East Asia, sediment spills for future energy ports, sea ice assessments in Baltic Sea, wave breaking modelling in the Mediterranean.

Our Danish department works with a broad spectrum of marine projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and supervision. Our team of more than 40 marine and coastal engineers is well balanced between senior experts, project managers, specialists and newly graduates. Knowledge sharing and open-minded collaboration across all levels within the department and across the organisation is part of our DNA and enables us to deliver innovative yet efficient solutions on a high-quality standard. Your future colleagues have extensive experience from both national and international marine and Offshore Wind projects, and we collaborate successfully with all Ramboll marine units around the globe. The multidisciplinary aspect of Ramboll and focus on innovation and sustainability, gives you a unique opportunity to work with experts from all fields, developing and grow your skills further.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Advanced numerical modelling of coastal processes such as waves, currents, storm surge, sediment transport, morphology, and wave-current-structure interaction
- Assessing marine site conditions and analysing and processing MetOcean Data
- Producing MetOcean design basis for marine structures by means of numerical modelling, and statistical analyses
- Co-create and drive our automation efforts through tool development
- Contributing to R&D as required, mainly focussing on our in-house tools and enhancing our capabilities
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to provide high-quality project deliverables such as reports, presentations, processed data etc.
