Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated Metrology and First Article Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in metrology and first article inspection to drive sales and build lasting relationships with clients in various industries including aerospace, automotive, industrial products and more. Your understanding of precision measurement tools and quality assurance processes will be essential in providing tailored solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in metrology, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of metrology principles, first article inspection processes, and relevant measurement tools and technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing effective sales strategies.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address client challenges effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive company culture.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
- Must be a US citizen due to ITAR requirements
Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in metrology and first article inspection markets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our metrology products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate metrology solutions.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop and present compelling proposals and quotations, ensuring alignment with client specifications and budget constraints.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations and addressing client inquiries.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting sales strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
