SUMMARY:

Goldbelt Integrated Logistics, LLC is looking for a Metrology Technician III/QA. The Metrology Technician III/QA independently determines and performs operations required to calibrate and certify electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment, maintaining traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), US Department of Commerce, or by reference to natural constants, and perform duties in a Quality Assurance role as needed.
Responsibilities:

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of computer controlled analytical systems
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and best practices
  • Knowledge of US Navy Calibration Program Instructions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with diagnostic tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally, individually, and as a part of a team
  • Good management of time and available resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in electronics or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience
  • Minimum five (5) or more years of related industrial/mechanical experience
  • Experience with calibration and metrology equipment
  • Experience with diagnostic tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus
    The salary range for this position $30.00 to $33.82 hourly.
