SUMMARY:
Goldbelt Integrated Logistics, LLC is looking for a Metrology Technician III/QA. The Metrology Technician III/QA independently determines and performs operations required to calibrate and certify electronic and physical/dimensional measuring and test equipment, maintaining traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), US Department of Commerce, or by reference to natural constants, and perform duties in a Quality Assurance role as needed.
Responsibilities:
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of computer controlled analytical systems
- Knowledge of electrical codes and best practices
- Knowledge of US Navy Calibration Program Instructions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross functionally, individually, and as a part of a team
- Good management of time and available resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in electronics or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience
- Minimum five (5) or more years of related industrial/mechanical experience
- Experience with calibration and metrology equipment
- Experience with diagnostic tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus
The salary range for this position $30.00 to $33.82 hourly.
