LET US TELL A BIT ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled MI Analyst to join our Motor Finance division and contribute to our mission of supporting the business with data-driven insights.
As a MI Analyst you will be responsible for building reports for various teams across the business, as well as extracting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets and producing visualizations. Our MI Analysts provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations that will be used to drive informed business decisions that add value. Expertise in utilising SAS and Tableau or other BI tools will be essential to succeed in this role.
We promote flexibility through our approach to hybrid working, combining the opportunity for you to work remotely with the expectation of 2 days a week onsite in our Cardiff offices to meet the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Extracting, manipulating, and analysing complex data sets using reporting tools in order to identify patterns, uncover correlations, derive meaningful insights, generate reports and dashboards
  • Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making that will add value across various business areas, such as risk management and performance analysis
  • Develop and deploy data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using SAS (in particular SAS Viya), Tableau, or other reporting tools to communicate findings effectively
  • Collaborating with cross-business teams to understand their business problems and reporting requirements, and deliver accurate and timely MI reports that meet their needs
  • Presenting complex findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating their understanding and driving actions based on the insights provided
  • Developing and maintaining robust data models and databases to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy for reporting purpose
