Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £37,007 - £38,821 (inclusive of London Weighting)
Hours: 36 hours per week

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a logical, clear-thinking, and articulate professional with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is not only detail-oriented and analytical but also friendly and approachable, with a talent for explaining complex information clearly. A background in environmental data analysis, business intelligence, or systems management is preferred.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and familiarity with PowerBI or equivalent data visualisation tools.
- Data Management Expertise: Strong understanding of database management principles and compliance with data protection laws.
- Analytical Prowess: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to articulate complex data in an accessible format to a variety of stakeholders.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Prior roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar positions in the waste management or environmental sectors.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As our MI Analyst, you will spearhead the maintenance and enhancement of our data systems, ensuring high standards of accuracy and reliability. This role is critical in shaping our strategic decisions through meticulous data analysis and management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Integrity: Manage and ensure the accuracy of waste data capture, maintaining impeccable system records.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyse data to identify and report on anomalies, ensuring data integrity aligns with financial implications and operational strategies.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee accounts payable and receivable linked to waste management activities, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the first point of contact for all waste data inquiries, providing expert advice and timely responses.
- Project Leadership: Lead projects to enhance the functionality and utility of waste data systems, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
