Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Underground Mines Superintendent, the Optimization Technician is responsible for planning and actively participating in the implementation of underground operational optimization projects. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Commissioning of new mining equipment related to drilling and blasting;
- Research and analysis of required modifications to optimize equipment performance;
- Researching the best drilling tools on the market and conducting in-situ testing, along with associated budget monitoring;
- Providing technical support to maintenance and operations for various underground improvement projects;
- Supervising fieldwork and ensuring its proper execution;
- Conducting additional training for production equipment operators and development;
- Updating documentation with equipment suppliers;
- Providing technical assistance to the maintenance team;
- Writing various activity reports;
- Performing any other tasks deemed necessary to ensure the effective operation of the concentrator;
- Carrying out other related tasks associated with this position.
