Mission of The Role: Responsible for strategy in the Meetings & Events segment

Responsibilities:

  • Define the global strategy for the MICE business.
  • Ensure the implementation of the sales strategy for the MICE Segment in the different Hotels and ensure that the strategy of other segments is correctly implemented in the business units for which they are directly responsible (both hotels and Segment sales teams).
  • Participate in planning projects and defining priorities related to the MICE segment.
  • Responsible for implementing strategy for all of the segments for companies in hotels under their responsibility and validating with Revenue Management the appropriate segmentation for hotels under their responsibility.
  • Monitor the sales objectives for the MICE business source/segment and define and implement the action plans required to achieve the objectives for the segment.
  • Manage relationships with MICE Key Accounts on a global level.
  • Lead the contracting of new accounts in the segment, including online platforms or partners, that bring increased business and/or visibility in the MICE segment on a global level.
  • Develop relationships with key accounts to maximise revenue and ensure a positive perception of the company in the markets under their responsibility.
