We offer the most advanced 8-week PAID training program backed by I-CAR accredited courses. For approved applicants, we will invest in your training to learn entry-level auto skills such as plastic repairs, repair planning, and removal & installation of parts to fast-track your certification as an entry-level Micro Repair Technician.
Based on your progress and performance, after 12 to 24 months as a Micro Tech, you will then have an opportunity to move into Body Repair Apprentice position (Conditions apply).
No experience is required for the entry-level Micro Tech; all training is provided during the certification program, followed by ongoing “on-the-job training and upskill career progression programs.” During the training, you will be able to take part in various trade-based, personal, and basic business development short courses, providing a foundation for further development of your career.

ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking employees who are interested in long-term employment, job security, and want to work for a sustainable industry.
Candidates will start as a trainee, then certified as an entry-level technician, where they will
undertake ongoing training in various Micro Collision Tasks listed below.
We are looking for people who are motivated, have an eye for detail, can work both independently and within a team, follow the company repair methods, and have great communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILL SETS:
- Great communication skills.
- Experience in car repair, plastic, or metal welding
- Hands-on experience with cars, tools, or any kind of trade type role
- Driver’s License
MICRO SKILLS TO LEARN:
- Plastic welding and lamp repairs
- Vehicle disassembly and assembly
- Repair assessment & parts tagging
- Spray primer and texture application

Responsibilities:
- Lifting plastic car parts and sanding parts
- Taking parts off vehicles and tagging
- Plastic welding using a fuse welding gun and plastic rods
- Use equipment such as sanders, air tools, hot air welders and lamp spray guns
- Stand for long periods working on parts and cars
- Use mobile/tablet to enter job numbers and part images
- Identify plastic and part imperfections via visual and lamp hand inspection techniques
- Will need to work independently and within a team
- Work within a workshop environment with some noise
