Upstream Technician for Biopharmaceutical Production -
Temporary position 18 months

AGC Biologics A/S is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) within the biotech industry. We work on developing bio-pharmaceutical production processes as well as GMP production of bio-pharmaceutical proteins for both clinical trials and the market.
About the Job
You will be part of our production area, consisting of five production lines that produce pre-clinical, clinical, and commercial products for a wide range of different customers. The team consists of dedicated technicians and academics with high expertise.
As a technician in our Microbial Upstream team, you will be responsible for planning and executing various processes in fermentation.

Your work will include:

  • Preparation for production and systems before and after production, as well as participation in qualification, maintenance, control, and calibration of equipment, including ordering disposables and raw materials.
  • Monitoring and manual operation of production.
  • Preparation and inoculation of fermenters, both single-use and traditional steel tanks.
  • Daily sampling.
  • Setting up and running CIP/SIP on equipment.

About You We imagine that you:

  • Are trained as either a process operator, process technologist, or have experience in the industry.
  • Have experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry and have worked in a GMP environment.
  • Are interested in equipment and tool maintenance.
  • Are good at collaborating and communicating constructively with others.
  • Speak, read, and understand English (all procedures are in English, and the working language in the organization is also English).

You have a great drive, are full of initiative, flexible, and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you manage multiple tasks simultaneously with an overview.
