Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect 365 to lead IT transformation initiatives around Microsoft 365 (O365) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and O365 architecture to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based collaboration and productivity solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on expertise in driving successful digital transformations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong IT infrastructure background, including experience with on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Proven experience in O365 architecture, implementation, and administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Defender for M365, and Azure AD.
  • Expertise in identity & access management (IAM), security compliance, and governance within O365.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration.
  • Experience in migrating workloads to O365 (Exchange, SharePoint, and hybrid deployments).
  • Solid understanding of networking, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, MFA), and hybrid identity solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, MS-101, MS-500, AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise IT environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM, and automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services and integrations with M365.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead for IT transformation projects centered around Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Define and implement O365 architecture that is aligned with business objectives, security policies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current infrastructure and design optimized M365 environments.
  • Lead the migration, deployment, and integration of O365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Security & Compliance solutions.
  • Provide governance, standards, and best practices for Microsoft 365 implementation and management.
  • To ensure seamless integration, work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, networking, and cloud teams.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and roadmaps for O365 adoption.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide escalation support when needed.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft’s latest features, updates, and best practices to advise on continuous improvements.
  • Support change management, training, and knowledge-sharing efforts across teams.
