Bolton has a 40-year history of consulting to clients in the Public and Corporate Sectors, Nonprofit Organizations, as well as for the Federal Government. Bolton Rewards helps clients build and optimize their people resources through their reward strategy, compensation program design and rewards communication.
We are currently looking to add a talented and motivated professional to our Rewards practice as a Microsoft Access Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized solutions:
- Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Access databases and applications to support business processes
- Create and maintain user-friendly interfaces for data entry, reporting, and analysis
- Source research materials and compensation surveys
- Write and optimize VBA/VB.NET code for automation, integration, and custom functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, data integrity, and user access
- Draft and customize pre-existing exhibits and reports using Microsoft Excel and Access (SQL)
- Participate as needed in client delivery meetings
- Develop and implement macros and automated processes to streamline workflows
- Conduct data analysis and create custom reports using Access queries and VBA scripting
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics, information technology, finance, public administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including advanced knowledge of tables, queries, forms, reports, and macros.
- Strong programming skills in VBA for Microsoft Access and other Office applications
- Knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data within Access and SQL Server
- Previous compensation experience is not required but must be proficient in electronic data gathering, cleaning, and management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and work independently in a professional, deadline-based environment.
- Communication skills to effectively participate in team-based client delivery projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
