Description:

In the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success. As a Microsoft Fabric Embedded Escalation Engineer, you will own, troubleshoot and solve complex customer technical issues. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience developing or supporting Cloud Analytics solutions like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Spark including the following areas: Data ingestion, Data processing, Data flow orchestration/ETL, Data security, Query Performance, Reporting and Analytics.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and releasing complex software systems and services using a major cloud technology stack such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with cloud computing platform concepts and architecture (tenant/subscription management, administration concepts, engaging with cloud objects using REST API), understand cloud telemetry stores and access.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND experience with coding in C# or Java or related Web Development technologies
  • Experience designing, implementing, and releasing complex software systems and services using AzureExperience with modern software development methodologies and tools that enable these, such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Ability to lead by example and mentor others to produce extensible and maintainable code
  • Proficiency in computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills and ability to drive cross-organizational initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Produce extensible and maintainable designs and code for diagnostics and troubleshooting tools.
  • Optimize, debug, and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability, and effectiveness.
  • Apply metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices.
  • Apply debugging tools and examine logs, telemetry, and other methods to verify assumptions through writing and developing code proactively before issues occur and reactively as issues occur for products.
  • Review code to assure it meets quality standards, is reliable and accurate, and is appropriate for the scale of the product/solution area.Mentor engineers
