Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Intune Engineer to lead the administration, deployment, and management of Windows devices across a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Intune, SCCM, and Azure Active Directory. You will be responsible for software deployments, Windows patching, endpoint compliance, and automation, working closely with IT and security teams to ensure smooth operations and high security standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience with Intune security patching and end-user device support (2+ years with Intune, remainder in SCCM).
  • Strong governance and security expertise in managing end-user risks.
  • Experience with packaging, testing, deployment, and remediation.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory and Windows Autopilot.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
  • BA/BS in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate tasks and updates through chat and calls, ensuring visibility with the client.
  • Experience working with SCRUM: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
  • Punctuality in Meetings: Timeliness and active participation in team discussions.
  • Proactive and Communicative: Regularly provide updates on tasks and progress, ensuring transparency with stakeholders. Comfortable giving frequent updates via chat or calls when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Intune and SCCM automated software delivery through the Company Portal and Software Center.
  • Create, maintain, and deploy desktop images, including Windows deployment and patching for all endpoint devices.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support servers using Microsoft and third-party tools, applying performance and security patches.
  • Perform Tier III troubleshooting for packaging and deployment issues.
  • Package software and updates for deployment in both test and production environments.
  • Develop security baselines in collaboration with Engineering and Security teams and implement device policies.
  • Write advanced scripts using PowerShell, Batch, or VBScript for Windows 10/11.
  • Monitor endpoint compliance and improve non-compliant devices.
  • Plan, test, and deploy updates with minimal service disruption, adhering to corporate IT and InfoSec standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client health issues that impact automatic patching.
  • Follow documented Change Management practices.
  • Document procedures and create knowledge articles to enhance support processes.
  • Work with Enterprise-level strategies and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
