Excelraise, LLC is seeking an Microsoft Power BI Developer for our client in Columbia, SC.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficient in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for report creation and publishing.
• Experience embedding Power BI in custom applications
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience in building complex data models.
• Ability to write advanced DAX queries for calculations and data manipulation.
• Proficient in SQL for querying and extracting data from relational databases.
• Strong skills in creating engaging and effective visualizations that communicate data insights clearly.
• Experienced in power apps, power platform, and dynamics 365 apps
• Skilled with SharePoint, stream, and teams

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with ETL (EXTRACT, TRANSFORM, and LOAD) tools such as AZURE DATA FACTORY OR SSIS.
• Understanding of azure services related to data analytics and reporting.
• Familiarity with business intelligence methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with .NET AND C#
• Understanding of programming languages like data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with IBM SPSS

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree computer science, information technology, data science, or a related field.

• Data Modeling and Transformation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Build and maintain data models within Power BI using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
• Report Development: Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI. Ensure reports are user-friendly and meet business requirements.
• Data Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files. Perform data cleansing and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize dashboard performance and responsiveness. Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting.
