JOB SUMMARY
The Microsoft Programme & Incentives Specialist is a critical function of the Microsoft Practice, responsible for the delivery and management of Microsoft operational programmes and maximising the programmatic benefits of the Microsoft business at CDW. The role will work alongside other members of the Microsoft Practice to deliver high quality Microsoft programme operations and a superior customer experience, including owning specific programme delivery and ensuring consistent execution. The role will build meaningful relationships across internal teams to collaborate across departments and provide programmatic excellence for the partnership.
The primary objectives of this role are:
- To deliver exceptional operational management and efficiency across Microsoft funding and investment programmes as a subject matter expert
- Be responsible for executing Microsoft Practice operational processes from qualification, through to submission and claiming to ensure maximum utilisation of available investment
- To stay up to date on programmatic changes throughout the Microsoft fiscal year and updating processes and procedures, working with the Operations Lead to continuously improve and build out new processes for profit generating programmes
- To track and proactively review incentives and funding from Microsoft, including capturing any discrepancies and errors that may arise. Ensuring we are obtaining all potential and expected funds.
- To drive YoY growth of Microsoft programmatic back end incomes e.g. rebates, incentives etc
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to the changing needs of the business, while meeting deadlines
- Proven experience and success delivering operational efficiency, managing programmes, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing complex and multi-stage funding claims processes, including identifying discrepancies and following submissions through to receipt of funds
- Understanding of Microsoft programmes and operations e.g. AMM, ECIF, Microsoft Commerce Incentives and Co-Op preferred etc
- Demonstrable track record of composing materials such as detailed reports, manuals, presentations and documentation for internal and external use
- Experience in contributing to departmental brand and engaging with multiple internal business units, building relationships and creatively solving problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and maintaining organisation across multiple priorities

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a central point for collecting documentation and reporting, providing visibility across departments including status of programme claims, ownership and accountability, through to receipt of funds
- Execute and drive revenue and profit growth alongside key stakeholders to ensure consistency across CDW sales segments aligned to the Microsoft partnership metrics and relevant performance indicators
- Collaborate across the Microsoft Practice to develop and execute new funding and programmatic strategies that provide an optimal customer journey, and drive CDW’s professional and managed services portfolio including back-end operations to retain and grow customer base
- Develop trusted partnerships across the business to provide a platform for operational efficiencies and improvements that offer a consistent experience to customers and internal stakeholders
- Be a subject matter expert on Microsoft programmes, acting as a resource for sales to support with programme qualification and utilisation at the deal level
- Engage regularly with US, Canadian and other international counterparts to identify new opportunities for growth, strategic initiatives and increased utilisation of partner programmes
- Continue to evolve the programmatic operations in line with market trends to ensure relevance and forward thinking
- Manage Microsoft co-sell referrals and outbound deal sharing in line with pipeline and opportunity reporting from sales and the Microsoft Practice team.
- Monitor programme effectiveness to aid in decision making and planning, managing the implementation and seeking ways to maximise gross profit opportunities
- Build strong relationships with Microsoft operational and sales employees, keeping CDW top of mind and enhancing the CDW brand as a trusted advisor for Microsoft programme utilisation
- Competitive research and analysis to optimize our offerings and competitive strategy
