MID-LEVEL PROCUREMENT ANALYST (POLICY SUPPORT) (0014)
OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of full-spectrum federal contract experience
- 3 or more years in Procurement Analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Acquisition certification (i.e., FAC-C II, DAWIA II certification, NCMA certifications will also be considered)
- Strong writing and research skills
- Strong presentation development experience (e.g., PowerPoint)
- Past exposure to federal government purchase card programs (desired)
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance. The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
Responsibilities:
OCT currently has openings for Mid-Level Procurement Analysts with more than five (5) years of Federal Contracting experience, three (3) of which must be in the procurement analyst role. Experience supporting an acquisition office in the Contract and Procurement Series, 1102 is preferred. The experience can be either as a federal government employee or as a contractor supporting a Federal or combination of both.
You will:
- Provide business advice, serving as a business advisor to management, program officials and others on matters pertaining to procurement policies and procedures.
- Conduct contract clearance by assisting contracting professionals in the review and preparation of contract documents
- Support the client’s Government Purchase Card (GPC) program
- Support compliance strategies and conduct file inspections/audits
- Provide data analytics: develop data sets to analyze procurement timelines, performance statistics, workload statistics, workload balancing, contracting community performance, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Present data findings and translate data into usable formats through the application of critical thinking.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of business rules, standardized processes, and forms/templates
- Support the organization and development of internal SharePoint capabilities
