Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level Production Control Tool Coordinator (Level 3) to join the Tool Services Analyst team in Renton, WA.
As a Production Control Tool Coordinator, you will be involved in satisfying manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tool and shop supplies. You will work in providing high impact, creative solutions to complex technical problems, working both independently and as part of a team environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing and fabrication of Boeing airplane parts by procuring non-flyaway materials, tools, shop supplies and services by using the ordering and inventory systems i.e. Ariba and Cribmaster 11
- Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
- Engage with shop personnel and analyze recommended solutions for process requirements
- Represent Boeing as a Tool Coordinator SME
- Interact with Procurement Agents/Suppliers on a daily basis, working one-on-one to resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate inventory and set min/max level to ensure shop is supported
- Use skills and ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information and working with it dispassionately
- Use skill and ability to ensure manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory compliance i.e. Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, Hazardous Material Control, and Supplier Contact
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- High School or Equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement and Inventory Management
- 3+ years of experience in a direct manufacturing role
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Supply Chain Management
- 1+ year (s) of experience in shop manufacturing processes
- Complete knowledge and experience with serialize tools used for measurement in detail and assembly manufacturing
TYPICAL EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
