POSITION SUMMARY

We welcome a seasoned Middle Software Engineer (Java) to develop a cutting-edge platform for one of our products. You will join the team that creates a simple, easy way to manage invoices, connect payment entities, and audit payments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of hands-on software development experience, with extensive knowledge of Java and experience in Spring/Spring Boot
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, proficiency with ORM frameworks
• Good understanding of API, microservice, and integration concepts and technologies, such as REST, JSON, XML, and message queues
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, and familiarity with containers and observability solutions
• Familiarity with containers and logging/monitoring solutions
• Knowledge of traditional build systems (Gradle, Maven)
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum processes and ceremonies
• Ability to work with SQL (knowledge of JasperReports is a big plus).

• Fluency in English

• Respond to customer and user inquiries via phone, email or chat
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems
• Continuously monitor production systems and respond to alerts and incidents promptly
• Provide solutions to technical problems, including step-by-step instructions and workarounds
• Escalate complex problems to R&D teams, effective communication and collaboration with the R&D teams, and timely escalation of the complex issues to Level 3 in R&D
• Assist in deploying new software releases, updates, and patches to the production environment while minimizing downtime and risk
• Be part of an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems, responding to emergencies outside of regular business hours
• Document problems and solutions in knowledge bases and other documentation
• Design and create new web services which should be integration bridges with external systems
• Create SQL queries for required basic statistical reports
• Keep up to date on the latest technologies and products
