Mid-Sr. Salesforce Developer - Hybrid
Position Description

CGI has an immediate need for a Mid-Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our team. This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. This position requires 2 days week onsite visit in Plano, TX.
Customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize Salesforce applications by working in close interaction with the Architect, Leads, business analysts and other members of the development team. This role requires a strong foundation in Salesforce coding and web development experience using Lightning.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP and REST Web Services.
8+ years relevant Salesforce experience in Sales or Service Cloud.
Automate processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, E-mail Alerts.
Collaborate with team members and other departments in defining business requirements for optimal use of Salesforce functionality.
Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce Applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures.
Evaluate, install and administer 3rd party apps and provide first-tier-support.
Train and coach teammates.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
10+ year of experience in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools
5+ years’ experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)
5+ years’ experience with OO analysis and design experience
Experience working in Agile environment
Experience using tools like JIRA, Rally, DOORS, SVN
Familiarity with Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
Experience working in a matrix organization
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Desired Skillset

Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Salesforce Developer (Dev 401) Certification
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.00 - $165,300.00.
