Middleware Application Engineer (Fipro/Cordra)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain middleware solutions using Fipro and Cordra.
• Implement scalable and efficient middleware components to support application integration.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to facilitate communication between systems.
• Integrate middleware solutions with existing applications and third-party services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of middleware components.
• Implement data transformation and routing logic to support various business processes
• Provide Production, UAT, Staging, and Pre-production support with our Java/Web applications (Linux based) in an AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Upgrade cloud infrastructure, infrastructure components (MongoDB, Zookeeper, Kafka, and Solr) and mount points
• Perform change management and deployments with the use of Ansible and Jenkins.
• Onboard API (REST and FIX) and GUI clients through backend applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with 3 years of relevant middleware application design & support experience.
• Experience in maintenance and monitoring and supporting multiple applications
• Strong experience with Fipro and Cordra middleware platforms
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and data formats (e.g., HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
• Experience in using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, HP OMU Monitoring system
• Unix/Linux, PUTTY, SSM - Familiarity with command line interface and server infrastructure. Navigation on client/backend servers
• Experience on FIX Protocol (Configurations, tags, messages, logs, account setups and fix certification), Rest API, Jmeter, WinSCP, VMWare
• Strong Knowledge on Tomcat Applications Nginx, Solr, Zookeeper, MongoDB, Kafka
• Experience in supporting financial softwares running on java applications via GUI, API and iOS Application
• Experience in testing and deploying releases via chef, bitbucket and ansible and Jenkins
• Basic PC Trouble Shooting, Networking and OS Installations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and other MS Office applications
