Description:

SUMMARY

Collins Aerospace is looking to hire Military Forging Procurement Lead, as the Military Forgings Lead, for Military Landing Gear Forging Supply Chain. You will be responsible for driving supply chain excellence across customer value streams within multiple operational sites. You will be expected to communicate to all levels of the organization, manage procurement activities through all phases of the product life cycle, and partner with other internal functions to achieve desired outcomes.
It will partner with both operations and supply chain leadership to overcome barriers, define solutions, and drive sustained delivery performance.
This is a full-time remote position through Collins Oakville, Canada site. It has 30% international / domestic travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Aftermarket and/or Supply Chain disciplines.
  • Experience in ERP system.
  • Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP and be eligible to work in Canada.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Customer service experience
  • Demonstrated record of managing to plan and achieving customer satisfaction
  • Ability to self-start and multi-task in a dynamic environment is a plus.
  • CORE experience (or equivalent lean processes)
  • SAP experience or equivalent MRP system experience

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Linkage with Operations, Value Stream Leaders, and customer service organizations
  • Develop (internal and external) customer relationships and rebuild customer trust
  • Interfacing with Senior Leadership within the organization, customers, and within the supply base
  • Partnering with internal customers and support organizations to drive supply chain activities
  • Maintain program-level view of health and forecasting of risks, that show recovery and initiatives
  • Represent supply chain organization in both internal and external forums
  • Present status reports to executive leadership on programs health and part recoveries.
