Mill Maintenance Supervisor- Instrumentation

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Mill Maintenance Supervisor- Instrumentation to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
The position will be based in Greater Sudbury (Onaping) Ontario.
This is a full-time staff position.
Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

This position requires a tradesperson certification, with a minimum of 5 years’ of supervisory experience in the maintenance of mineral processing equipment, preferably with supervisory experience. The incumbent should have good leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to develop other employees.
Instrumentation position must be knowledgeable in instrumentation systems, OHSA, loss control, computer-controlled equipment, computers and the maintenance planning system.

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance General Foreman, the Mill Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to lead and manage the performance, health and safety of a crew of tradespersons to ensure the efficient maintenance of equipment to meet or exceed safety, environmental and production targets. The Mill Maintenance Supervisor team is made up of Mechanical Supervisors and Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisors.
