Millwork Installer / Jr. Cabinetmaker

Custom millwork shop in East Vancouver has a full-time position available for a qualified millwork installer / Jr. Cabinetmaker experience in production work. This position is intended for an individual who is interested in a flexible schedule between site work and shop work.
Our shop is not a high-production facility, we specialize in commercial construction & renovation of cafes, restaurants, retail, office interiors, and select residential projects; We seek to expand our team as our growth continues.

Skill Requirements:

• Qualified Trades Carpenter – familiarity with millwork site install is required
• Apprentice level cabinetmaker - experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to assemble cabinets from start to finish with efficiency, accuracy, to a high level of finish quality
• CAD shop drawing interpretation
• Familiarity with conventional shop machinery & hand tools
• English proficiency & strong communication skills required.
• Can work independently & collaboratively with efficiency
• Valid BC Drivers License and reliable transportation – preferred, not required
• Strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and a healthy sense of fun

Offering a starting rate of $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience), opportunities for advancement in position and earnings are numerous.
