Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance with plastic mold injection presses, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in English for effective communication.
  • Strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
  • Experience with plastic mold injection presses (required)
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • 433A millwright certificate considered an asset (but no required)

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as Electricians, Set up technicians, process technicians etc. to ensure comprehensive maintenance solutions.
  • Maintain plant and building equipment, monitor issues, ordering parts, and adhering to maintenance schedule.
  • Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
