QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Education : Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as mining engineering, geology, or environmental science.
  • Experience : Prior experience in mining operations or consulting is highly valued. 3 - 5 years
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in mining software and tools, as well as a deep understanding of mining processes and ore discovery.
  • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize mining operations.
  • Communication Skills : Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning and Design : Collaborate with geologists and mining engineers to design safe and productive mines.
  • Operational Optimization : Analyze and improve mining processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure mining operations comply with national, state, and federal laws.
  • Environmental Responsibility : Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and improve sustainability.
  • Technical Reporting : Prepare technical reports such as JORC and NI43-101.
  • Exploration Services : Advise on ideal locations for mining and participate in the exploration stage.
