    As a Mission Engineering Engineer, you will use digital engineering and mission engineering methodologies to enhance mission effectiveness across the capability lifecycle.

To succeed in this endeavour, you will:

  • Develop mission architectures integrating various systems and capabilities to achieve operational outcomes aligned with warfighter needs.
  • Define and articulate operational needs and business requirements in collaboration with Defence stakeholders.
  • Analyse requirements and system designs using systems engineering, DE tools and ME methodologies, ensuring alignment with Defence requirements and standards.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative trade space analysis to evaluate and compare alternative system-of-systems architectures, ensuring optimal mission performance.
  • Preparing and deliver technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on comprehensive analyses and modelling outcomes.Document ME processes and outcomes for continuous improvement.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (engineering, physics, mathematics, data science preferred)
  • Proven experience delivering technical solutions within Defence or Defence Industry, with a focus on engineering analysis, support, or technical consulting.
  • An understanding of systems engineering tools and methodologies, with experience in analysing system requirements and supporting system design activities.
  • Experience evaluating and comparing alternative system of systems architectures using qualitative and quantitative trade space analysis techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to complex, multi-disciplinary, and ambiguous situations.
  • Proven ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.You must have the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
