Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in management, logistics, or a related field is preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cash management, security operations, or logistics.
- Experience in Cash-in-Transit services is a strong advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and security regulations related to CIT services.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic financial management and budgeting.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to learn industry specific software.
PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in a high-security environment.
- Must pass background checks, including criminal history, drug testing, and credit checks.
- Must be licensed or have the ability to obtain a license through the State of Montana Private Security Program with a firearm endorsement.
- Must be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy cash containers (up to 60 lbs.), and operating armored vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Supervision & Team Management:
- Lead and manage CIT and courier personnel, including drivers, couriers and armed guards.
- Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure optimal staffing and coverage.
- Scheduling of branch employees to ensure that all routes are staffed in accordance with company policy and insurance regulations.
- Emphasis on minimizing overtime to control labor costs and promote profitability.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices, safety protocols, policies and operational procedures.
- Ensure that employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Collaboration with Senior Management in the event of violation of company policy or procedures.
