This role requires
Knowledge of building products and a strong sales background
Sound understanding of building industry
An eye for emerging markets and you will understand the value of price and margin in building a profitable trade business
Building industry experience preferred or a high performing salesperson in another industry
Implementing strategies to profitably grow key product areas including frame and truss, installed solutions, and core building lines
Exceptional customer focus
Well-developed time management skills
The ability to adapt your communication style to suit the audience
A positive and down-to-earth attitude

The Trade Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for the development and maintenance of trade customer accounts and relationships to promote our trade business within the Auckland region in order to facilitate further growth in sales and expand our customer base.
Intermediate computer skills and previous experience as a Sales Representative/Account Manager and extensive knowledge in the building supplies industry would be highly advantageous.
