Responsibilities:

You will provide forensic and medical care to adult victims of sexual assault and domestic violence across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). You’ll conduct forensic examinations, arrange necessary treatments, and ensure appropriate follow-up care for patients. Your responsibilities will also include completing medical certificates, participating in legal proceedings, and ensuring your practice adheres to the highest standards in forensic medicine.
You will play a key role in supporting adult patients by maintaining accurate documentation, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide timely, compassionate care, and mentoring junior staff. Your work will contribute to the health and safety of vulnerable individuals and families. You will also participate in peer reviews, assist with data collection, and provide on-call support as required.
In accepting this position, you will uphold core NSW public sector values, including cultural diversity, equity, ethical practice, and contributing to a healthy, safe, and fair workplace.
