Description:

ABOUT US

Adform is the only global, independent and fully integrated advertising platform built for modern marketing. Its unique enterprise technology – Adform FLOW – harnesses superior user experience and a scalable, modular and open architecture, to enable seamless management of the whole campaign lifecycle. It provides clients with enhanced control and transparency across their advertising operations, including ownership of all data from their campaigns. Since 2002, Adform has developed technology to enhance human/machine collaboration and deliver augmented intelligence, thereby amplifying business results for its clients around the world

Responsibilities:

In the Revenue and Operations department, the mission is to promote, sell, onboard, and service the products built by our technical teams and departments. This means a deep focus on a 360-degree commercial strategy that helps take new products to market and promote and maximize clients’ usage and experience with existing products.
As Sales Director, you’ll report to the Snr Director of Sales and will focus on building strong relationships with Independent Agencies and Holding Groups. You should be ready to actively engage with agencies, advocate for Adform’s value, and tailor solutions to align with agency and client goals.
We’re looking for a candidate with a robust network in the North of England, ideally allowing for speed to market and efficient deal-closing. Experience in SaaS licensing or Ad Tech sales is essential, as is comfort with longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder negotiation. While you’ll also manage an existing portfolio, driving new business wins and retention will be at the core of your role.
Adform has recently received multiple industry accolades, and we’re excited to add a new member to the team to help drive our continued success.

We hope you are ready to change the game! Be ready to:

  • Execute sales strategies within the North of England (primarily Manchester, Leeds) and Scotland, targeting net-new business with agencies
  • Own the sales process end-to-end, from prospecting to contract execution, building a pipeline of high-quality leads and closing deals
  • Apply a deep understanding of client needs with expert knowledge of Adform’s FLOW platform to tailor solutions
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts from Manchester, strengthening Adform’s relationships and increasing product usage through upselling
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities within your accounts, leveraging account management best practices (Account Plans, QBRs, Monthly Reviews)
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and translate them into strategies that showcase the value of Adform’s solutions
  • Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, building awareness of Adform’s technology and solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with presales, product, legal, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver outstanding service
  • Provide market insights to inform sales messaging and optimize collateral based on feedback from the field

Attitude First. Everything else will follow. We can grow together faster if you have:

  • 5–7 years of sales and account management experience within a programmatic company or agency environment
  • Extensive network within the North of England, enabling you to make immediate impact
  • In-depth knowledge of media and marketing, with a keen understanding of programmatic’s role within that mix
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas and securing new logos.
  • Strong skills in planning, forecasting, and analyzing opportunities to ensure you meet and exceed your targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused attitude and strong relationship-building abilities
  • Demonstrate our guiding principles: Focus on Client Value, Behave with Decency, Take Ownership, Care, Collaborate as Team Players, Remain Ambitious, and Stand Tall in all interactions.

Our promise to you:

  • You’ll be surrounded by a dynamic, inspiring and international environment that puts client value in focus
  • We behave with decency. We strongly commit to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment so we encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities
  • You’ll be given challenging and unique tasks with creative approach to problem-solving and ownership
  • We are team players and work closely with different teams to reach common goals
  • Being ambitious is what helps us grow and we want to share our future ambitions with You
  • We stand tall by acting with courage and treating every mistake as a valuable lesson
  • Adform cares about you, offering a competitive salary package, including pension, health insurance, travel, family, and meal benefits, as well as social and company events.

Adform is an equal opportunity employer with a global perspective. We remain committed to creating an environment that not only respects different backgrounds but celebrates them too. We believe that diversity in all its forms enhances our teams’ creativity, innovation, and effectiveness, and therefore we value different backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
We are committed to creating a work environment where Adform employees feel valued for who they are and what they can contribute, free from any type of discrimination.
